Critical Incident Management

Global terrorism post 2001 has raised the threat awareness for all organisations. It is a frightening thought that in the last 3000 years of recorded history, there have been less than 300 years free of armed conflict.

Realistically, although we are touched by terrorist incidents our main corporate concern is more mundane but equally as serious. Threats that organisations can and must prepare for range from product tampering, sabotage, kidnap, extortion and in some areas of the world political unrest.

The Acumé critical incident team have expert hostage negotiators; kidnap specialists and military experts who can guide an individual or organisation through the various stages of a critical incident.

After discussing your business concerns we will examine your perceived level of threat and carry out a thorough review of your audit systems and business protocols resulting in the development:

Preparation and preventative programs
Working with you to identify key individuals within your organisation and areas of business that are susceptible to risk. We will identify options with preferred solutions and assist in the management of preventative measures.

Crisis management teams
Will advise on the selection of your critical incident team (with deputies) to manage the incident outside of normal operations to a successful conclusion. All team members will undergo full simulation training.

Critical incident planning
Identify secure and accessible contingency plans. That work effectively when they are required. We will provide all training and comprehensive crisis packs detailing their roles and responsibilities as well as having consultants on hand to advise. This advice may at times run contrary to that of law enforcement agencies.
